In September 2017 the MariFlex Challenge will be sailed to the Canary Islands to organise beautiful trips there during the winter of November 2017 to April 2018. It is possible to join this sailing trip for a few days or longer, according to your wishes. The winter is the ideal season for a sailing vacation around the Canary Islands. The nice weather in that period is mainly owed to the mild and even climate, which is caused by a combination of the warm Gulf stream and the beginning of the north eastern trade winds. The trade winds carry moist air causing the vegetation of the islands and moderation of the temperature, while the gulf stream makes sure the temperature doesn’t drop too much.
